Configuring Publications in the Addables Screen

If you have a Chief Editor or Manager role, this screen is reachable via the configure addables button in the Properties screen of a Silva Publication (Fig.1)

Here you can control which items may be used inside the publication (Fig. 2)). The ‘addables’ appear in the New screen and in the new select list in the Contents screen.

By default the “acquire” checkbox is on. This means that the addable settings will be acquired from higher up in the site. If you want to override the addable settings in this publication, first turn off the acquire setting by unchecking it.
Check the addable items you want to allow in this publication, and uncheck those items you want to disallow. Then click the save addables settings button. It is always possible to go back to acquiring the settings from above by checking the “acquire” checkbox and saving again.

Developers can create pluggable objects, new content types which can be plugged into Silva. Like Silva core objects, they can also be turned on and off per publication, and will appear in these controls. See the Silva Developer docs for more information.
