The New screen enables you to add new content to Silva and is reached by clicking the new button in the Contents screen.

Descriptions are provided of all items that can be created in the current location. Clicking the name of an item initiates the create action.
This screen only lists descriptions of items that are available, so it could be that a different set of items is displayed than elsewhere. Also it's possible to install Silva Extensions that add other content types to the list, and these won't be listed in this documentation.

The list of ‘addables’ that are available in a Silva publication can be adjusted in the Addables screen. Only Chief Editors and Managers can do this. Go to the Properties screen of a publication (not folder) and click the configure addables button (alt-a).
